About CampusGRID
1. Who is CampusGRID?
CampusGRID is a private company which provides several Internet
services which help public and private schools better communicate
to their communities. One service allows schools to quickly create
and maintain an effective school web site. Another provides an online,
email newsletter for rapid and simple communication to parents and
students.
Our services simplify the usage of the internet by schools. They
are highly collaborative allowing any and all members of the school
staff to actively contribute. All of our services are available
online through a convenient web browser. This eliminates the need
to install, configure and support software on your computer.
CampusGRID was founded in early 2000 and is based in Northern California.

3. How do you make
money?
Because we feel that it important that we do not place ads or commercial
endorsements on our school web sites or in our newsletters, we charge
a modest but appropriate fee for the CampusGRID services. We realize
that even though our service is highly useful for improving communication
to parents and students, schools still have limited budgets. So,
we are striving for ways to keep our fees to a minimum. In fact,
for newly registering schools, there is no fee for three months!
to find out more about our fees, go to our fee
page.

4. How does CampusGRID's
service benefit schools?
CampusGRID provides schools with the tools and services they need
to strengthen communication and build relationships with parents,
students and the community. With CampusGRID, they can improve the
flow of timely information to these constituents; while more efficiently
running and managing their schools.
The traditional methods of creating web sites and newsletters are
too time-consuming, complex, and inefficient for schools. And no
single school or district can afford the time or expense to develop
and provide the specialized tools needed to take advantage of the
powerful and effective means of communication that the internet
can provide. It takes someone who is focused on solving this exact
problem an Internet specialist like CampusGRID to
do it.

5. Do you have
a Privacy Policy?
We respect the privacy of schools, parents and most of all children.
For this reason, we have an in-depth privacy policy which is posted
at our web site at http://www.campusgrid.com/cpp.php.
We fully comply with the recently enacted Children's Online Privacy
and Protection Act (COPPA), which is administered by the FTC and
which applies to all web sites that may target children.
